IanReads is a personal book-review website. This page explains its use of Google Analytics, hosting, and Amazon affiliate links.
Personal information
The site does not have contact forms, comments, newsletter subscriptions, visitor accounts, or a checkout. It does not ask you to submit your name, email address, or payment details.
Google Analytics
IanReads uses Google Analytics on IanReads.com to understand which reviews people read and how visitors find the site. It can collect information such as pages visited, device and browser details, approximate location, and interactions with the site.
Google Analytics uses cookies to help distinguish visits and visitors. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in the site’s tracking configuration. No other advertising or analytics trackers have been added to the site.

Hosting and cookies
The website’s own code does not set cookies apart from those used by Google Analytics. Book cover images are served directly with the website.
The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times, for operating and securing the site. Server logs are separate from cookies. The hosting provider’s own practices govern those logs.
Amazon affiliate links
Book covers and purchase buttons link to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
When you follow an Amazon link, Amazon may use cookies and collect information under its own policies. IanReads does not receive your payment details through these links.
